🌟January Theme: Reorientation🌟
🌟Bible Study, Sunday, January 4, 2026🌟
🌟Other Lands, 10:30 a.m.🌟
As we begin the new year, we’ll gather for a Bible study shaped by reorientation. Rather than rushing toward answers or resolutions, we’ll slow down and listen for what is already stirring within and among us.
In this study, we’ll spend time with the poetry of David Whyte, whose writing speaks especially to moments of transition, uncertainty, and quiet hope. Whyte’s poems help us notice how life is already turning toward the light, even when the path ahead is unclear. They invite attention, honesty, and trust rather than certainty or control.
Together, we’ll read and reflect on several of his poems, allowing space for conversation, silence, and shared insight. This will not be a literature class or a search for right answers. It will be a chance to listen deeply, to name where we find ourselves at the start of this year, and to explore how God may already be at work beneath the surface of our lives.
If you are feeling unsettled, hopeful, curious, or simply tired of the pressure to have everything figured out, this study is for you. Come as you are, and come ready to listen.
NOTE: We will have another congregational meeting after our January worship service to finalize the 2026 budget.Â
