🌟 APRIL THEME: RESURRECTING HOPE 🌟
This month, our theme is Resurrecting Hope—not just in doctrine or tradition, but in our lives and in our world. Resurrection isn’t only about what happened to Jesus two thousand years ago; it’s also about what can come back to life in us today. For many of us, hope has been bruised or buried beneath grief, injustice, or personal struggle. But the resurrection stories remind us that hope often begins in places of confusion, fear, and silence—and that it grows through community, witness, and encounter.
Bible Study - Sunday, April 6, 10:30 a.m.
At our Bible study this Sunday, we’ll look closely at the resurrection accounts in each of the four Gospels. Each one tells the story differently—not because they disagree, but because they each offer a unique window into the mystery. We’ll read them side-by-side and ask: Who sees the empty tomb? Who hears the good news? What does Jesus do—and what does he not do? Together, we’ll discover how these ancient witnesses still speak a word of life into our weary hearts. Bring your questions, your doubts, and your curiosity. This is a space where all of that belongs.
Church Clean-Up Postponed to April 13
At the suggestion of our agent, we have postponed the church clean-up to April 13. This is the date that we will clear the due diligence period in our sale.

MONTHLY SOCIAL EVENT DETAILS: April 5, 3 p.m. at Unity Park.
When people ask me about our church, I always emphasize that our primary purpose is building a community of people who are there to love and support each other. Especially right now, building community isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity. It’s one of the core pillars of our identity as a church beyond the walls. While we gather monthly for worship, we also know that community is often built through simple moments: conversations on a walk, laughter over coffee, or shared space in a public park. That’s why we make a point to host a social event each month. Sometimes we plan these events just for our church. Other times, we intentionally join with broader community gatherings.

This Saturday, April 5 at 3pm, Scott and I will be at Unity Park for a casual meetup sponsored by the Queer Social Club. The Queer Social Club is a new grassroots movement working to build LGBTQ+ community and support queer spaces, people, and organizations in Upstate South Carolina. This is a great opportunity to meet new people, enjoy the spring weather, and feel part of a wider network of belonging. You don’t need to RSVP or bring anything—just come as you are and say hello. We’ll be there, and we’d love for you to join us.

Join Us for One Last Worship Service in Our Church Building in Greer! 🌿✨
This Easter, we will gather one last time in our current space to celebrate resurrection, renewal, and new beginnings. As we honor the journey that has brought us here, we also look ahead to where God is leading us next.
As part of our Easter worship, we will offer baptisms for anyone feeling called to take this step in their faith journey. We will also welcome new members into our community with a new member initiation, celebrating those who are committing to walk this path with us.

UPDATE ON CHURCH BUILDING SALE
Following our congregational meeting on March 2nd where we voted unanimously to list our building for sale, the Board of Elders is excited to announce that we have agreed to an all-cash offer to sell the building as-is. The prospective buyer has a thirty-day period to conduct due diligence on the property. Please pray that this process goes smoothly. We have a tentative closing date of May 11. In order to accomplish this schedule, we will need to organize to clean out our church space during the month of April. Stay tuned for more information. Your assistance will be invaluable as we move forward with this next chapter in our church's history.
